Missourians United for Life Endorsement
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: July 21, 2010
Asbury Endorsed by Missourians United for Life
Higbee, MO – Missourians United for Life (MUL) has endorsed Randy Asbury in his bid to become 22nd District State Representative for Randolph, Chariton and Southern Macon counties.
MUL is a statewide, nonpartisan organization which opposes abortion, embryonic stem cell research, euthanasia and other attacks on life.
MUL also opposes tax dollars going to abortion providers like Planned Parenthood who seek access to schools and government social service providers.
“I am pleased to receive this endorsement from an organization which values life at all stages as I do,” stated Asbury.
“No action should be legally allowable if its purpose is to take the life of an innocent human being or destroy embryonic stem cells.”
In addition to his strong position on life, Asbury believes putting hard working Missourians back to work must be the state’s number one priority.
He will work to eliminate the burdens on small businesses, lower taxes and fight for competitively priced energy.
“Agriculture and small businesses are the linchpins of Missouri’s economy and I will fight for the economic interests of farmers and businesses,” stated Asbury.
Asbury has served as the Randolph County Western District Associate Commissioner since 2007. In addition, Asbury advocates for the economic interests of agriculture, navigation and utility interests in his role as executive director of the Coalition to Protect the Missouri River.
Asbury has also been endorsed by the Missouri Right to Life Political Action Committee.
